The Art of the Handcrafted
I believe that the objects you carry and the pieces you bring into your home should have a soul. In a world of mass production, I love finding beauty in the intentional, the tactile, and the unique. In every item, every stitch, fold, and finish is a celebration of slow craft—an invitation to slow down and appreciate the artistry behind the items that fill your daily life.
From My Hands to Your Home
Each item featured is born from a love for premium, sustainable materials and timeless design. Whether it’s a rugged canvas tote designed to weather years of adventures, a stylish homegood, or a cute yet functional bag, each piece is built to last. I focus on a “less but better” philosophy, ensuring that every item isn’t just a purchase, but a functional piece of art that grows more beautiful with age.
Meet the Maker: Lisa Claire
The journey of Lisa Claire Design began with a single sewing machine (an old Kenmore – a workhorse) back in 1971, and a fascination for how raw materials could transform into functional treasures. With a background in Textile Arts with a focus as a Multidisciplinary Artist, Lisa combines heritage techniques with a modern, minimalist aesthetic. For Lisa, design is personal; she hand-selects every fabric or surface, ensuring that the quality meets her exacting standards before it ever reaches your hands.
“I want my pieces to be the ones you reach for every single day—whether they’re carrying your essentials or enhancing your home’s ambiance.”
Our Process
-
Small-Batch Production: By keeping our runs small, we maintain total control over quality and focus on the unique qualities of each item. No two items are exactly the same, which is the beauty of a handmade item.
-
Functional Design: We don’t just design for aesthetics; we design for the way you live, move, and organize.
